Hypertonic saline solution (6% NaCl) loosens mucus and makes it easier to cough up, e.g. in cases of cystic fibrosis, Primary ciliary dyskinea (PCD) and bronchiectasis.
Inhalation can be carried out using jet, ultrasound or mesh nebulisers.
Unless your healthcare professional recommends a different dosage, inhale one ampoule (5 ml) two to four times daily as needed.
Open the ampoule only immediately before inhalation.
