What makes an effective nebulizer?

Not all nebulizers are equal. See why PARI Nebulizers are at the top of the class.

What makes an effective nebulizer?

How much medication is delivered to your lungs?

For your nebulizer therapy, the amount of medication that reaches the lungs is the key factor. This requires nebulizers that can produce sufficiently fine aerosol droplets in as short a time as possible.

  • The nebulizer produces fine droplets, i.e. the aerosol, from the inhalation solution consisting of the medication or other active substances. These droplets have to be relatively small to reach the lungs.
  • PARI inhalation devices perform particularly well, delivering aerosol to the lungs in a given time.
  • Therefore it is important to check the quality and efficiency of your nebulizer, because it can affect the success of your therapy.

PARI nebulizers are the gold standard

PARI devices are known for their high performance and quality. With worldwide availability, they are frequently chosen by pharmaceutical companies developing medications for respiratory diseases.

A nebulizer has to generate very small aerosol particles (less than 5 microns) to be able to reach the lungs. Aerosol particles that are larger than 5 microns will not reach deep into the lungs and will deposit in the larger airways and throat.

PARI nebulizers are the clinical choice

PARI’s expertise in aerosol science, superior device performance and proven track record with clinical trials provides pharmaceutical companies with innovative and effective solutions for inhaled drug delivery.

In addition, PARI products are currently being used in many clinical trials for new medications delivered by nebulizer. PARI is a proven partner with the following pharmaceutical companies; our products are listed in the package insert for many medications including those indicated (*) below:
