How do we collect your data?
Your personal data is only collected by us if you actively communicate it with us. This may be the data you enter in our contact form or our online application system, for example.

Other, non-personal data is captured by our IT systems automatically when you visit our website. This is mainly technical data (e.g., browser, operating system, or the time the page was called). This data is captured automatically as soon as you access our website.

What do we use your data for?
Non-personal, technical data is collected so that we can ensure that the website is presented without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your behaviour as a user.

We use personal data exclusively for the purpose for which you have entrusted it to us, e.g., as part of an application procedure or to process other enquiries from you.

What are your rights regarding your data?
Right to be informed: You as a data subject may demand at any time that we inform you without charge what kind of your personal data we save, where it comes from, whom we send it to and for what purpose we store it (Art. 17 PIPL).

Right to personal data portability: You may request to receive your personal data which you provided to us in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format or request for it to be transmitted to another controller.

Right to rectification: You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of personal data concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject shall have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement (Art. 46 PIPL).

Right to delete: You have the right to obtain the erasure of personal data concerning you without delay where one of the following grounds applies (Art. 47 PIPL): (1) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed; (2) the data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based according to point (a) of Article 13 (1), or of Article 29 (2), and where there is no other legal ground for the processing; (3) the data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Article 24 and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing; (4) the personal data have been unlawfully processed; (5) the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Chinese law to which the controller is subject.

Right to object: You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (4),(5),(6) or (7) of Art. 13, including profiling based on those provisions (Art. 24 PIPL).

Right to withdraw consent under data processing law: You have the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time (Art. 15 PIPL).

If you assert one of these rights, we will examine it and uphold it unless the law requires otherwise, and notify you of the outcome.

Analysis tools and tools from third party providers
When you visit our website, your surfing behaviour may undergo statistical analysis. This is carried out mainly using cookies and "analysis programs". The analysis of your surfing behaviour is performed anonymously: the surfing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. 2. General notes and mandatory information


Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in conformance with both the legal regulations governing data protection and this data protection declaration.

When you use this website, various elements of your personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you personally can be identified. The present data protection declaration explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose it is used.

Withdrawing your consent to process your data
Many data processing operations cannot be carried out without your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. To do this, you simply need to send us an e-mail to this effect, you do not need to submit a form. The legality of the data processing up to the time of the withdrawal is unaffected by the withdrawal.

Opposition to advertising e-mails
We herewith oppose the use of the contact data we publish in compliance with our legal obligation to post Impressum (imprint) information for sending advertising and information materials unless it has been explicitly solicited. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to institute legal proceedings against the unsolicited delivery of advertising information, using spam e-mails, etc.
 

3. Data capture on our website


Cookies
Some of our internet pages use cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and they do not contain viruses. We do not collect any personal data with these cookies. Contact form

The information you enter in the contact form is thus processed exclusively on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw this consent at any time. To do this, you simply need to send us an e-mail to this effect, you do not need to submit a form. The legality of the data processing operations up to the time of the withdrawal is unaffected by the withdrawal.

We keep the information you enter in the contact form until you ask us to delete it, or you withdraw your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the information no longer exists (e.g., when processing of your enquiry is completed). Mandatory legal provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.
 

4. Data protection declaration for use of our online application system


When using our online application system, you will be directed to the website of our service provider, Rexx Systems. Rexx Systems is the external data processing agent PARI has engaged under the provisions of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz [Federal Data Protection Act] (Article 28 GDPR). This means that your data is hosted by this provider. Both PARI and the provider take technical and organisational security measures to protect the data collected from you from accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons.

In the course of the application procedure, you have the option to enter the following information about yourself: Form of address, job title, first and last names, address, date of birth, telephone number for contact (mobile, landline), nationality, e-mail address, salary expectation, earliest start date, current notice period, photo, curriculum vitae, cover letter, references, other personal documents in support of your application.

Only the details that you provide as part of your application will be stored. Your stored information will only be used for its intended purpose, i.e., for the application process.

After you enter your data, it is sent directly to the server of our external service provider via an encrypted connection (TLS). An encryption method is also provided for your login.

By sending your information to us, you indicate that you agree to our processing and communicating your information solely for the purpose of processing your application.

In order to analyse the website, the provider uses Matomo open source software to evaluate visitor access requests. To facilitate this, your IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before your details are stored. 5. Analysis tools and advertising


Google Analytics
Google Analytics (GA4)

If you consent, this website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of this service is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior patterns of website visitors. To that end, the website operator receives a variety of user data, such as pages accessed, time spent on the page, the utilized operating system and the user’s origin. This data is assigned to the respective end device of the user. An assignment to a user-ID does not take place.

Furthermore, Google Analytics allows us to record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks, among other things. Google Analytics uses various modeling approaches to augment the collected data sets and uses machine learning technologies in data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that make the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing the user behavior patterns (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The website use information recorded by Google is, as a rule transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.
 

6. Plugins and tools


Google Maps
This page uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Your IP address has to be stored in order for you to be able to use the Google Maps functions. This information is typically transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. The provider of this page has no influence over this data transmission.

Our website uses the 2-click solution, i.e., your data cannot even be sent to the social media provider until you have clicked on the button to activate it. On our website, we use social plugins from the social network Pinterest, which is operated by Pinterest Inc., 635 High Street, Palo Alto, CA, 94301, USA ("Pinterest"). If you press this button, your browser creates a direct link to the Pinterest servers. To do this, the plugin transmits log data to the Pinterest server in the US.
