1. Data protection at a glance
The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is the term used for all data which can be used to identify you personally. For complete information about data protection, please refer to the data protection declaration Point 2 which follows this section.
Data collection on our website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the organisation with responsibility for data processing: The organisation responsible for data processing is
Spezialisten für effektive Inhalation
82319 Starnberg, Germany
Telephone: +49 8151 279-0
PARI GmbH has engaged a data protection supervisor to perform these functions:
The responsible organisation is the natural or legal person which takes decisions, either alone or with others, regarding the purposes and means for processing personal data (e.g., names, e-mail addresses, etc.).
How do we collect your data?
Your personal data is only collected by us if you actively communicate it with us. This may be the data you enter in our contact form or our online application system, for example.
Other, non-personal data is captured by our IT systems automatically when you visit our website. This is mainly technical data (e.g., browser, operating system, or the time the page was called). This data is captured automatically as soon as you access our website.
What do we use your data for?
Non-personal, technical data is collected so that we can ensure that the website is presented without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your behaviour as a user.
We use personal data exclusively for the purpose for which you have entrusted it to us, e.g., as part of an application procedure or to process other enquiries from you.
What are your rights regarding your data?
You have the right to obtain information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your personal data which we have stored at any time and at no cost. You also have the right to require that this data be corrected, blocked for access or deleted.
You can object to your data being used in the future, in other words for purposes other than or in addition to the performance of a contract or processing in our legitimate interests. In particular, you are entitled to object to the use of your data for advertising purposes. You also have the right to require that the use of your data be restricted to specific purposes.
For more information about these and other questions relating to data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given above. You also have the right of complaint to the regulatory authority with jurisdiction, see Point 2
Analysis tools and tools from third party providers
When you visit our website, your surfing behaviour may undergo statistical analysis. This is carried out mainly using cookies and "analysis programs". The analysis of your surfing behaviour is performed anonymously: the surfing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information about this is included in the following data protection declaration.
2. General notes and mandatory information
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in conformance with both the legal regulations governing data protection and this data protection declaration.
When you use this website, various elements of your personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you personally can be identified. The present data protection declaration explains which data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose it is used.
We would point out that there may be security vulnerabilities associated with transmitting data via the internet (e.g., e-mail communication). It is not possible to prevent your personal data entirely from being accessed by third parties.
Right of complaint to the regulatory authority with jurisdiction
In the event that the data protection laws are violated, the affected individual is entitled to complain to the regulatory authority with jurisdiction. The regulatory authority responsible for us and for complaints against us is the
Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht
Right to data portability
You have the right to request that data we process automatically following your consent or for fulfilling a contract be sent to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you request that the data be transmitted directly to another responsible party, we will only do this if it is technologically possible.
SSL and TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries you send to us as the website operator, this website uses SSL and TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection when the address line in your browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and a padlock symbol appears in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Information, locking, deletion
Under the terms of the prevailing statutory provisions, you have the right to receive information about the personal data we have stored for you, where it came from, its intended recipients and the purpose for which the data is being processed, and if applicable the right to have it corrected, blocked for access or deleted. You can exercise these rights at any time and at no cost. For more information about these and other questions relating to data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given above (see Point 1).
Withdrawing your consent to process your data
Many data processing operations cannot be carried out without your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time. To do this, you simply need to send us an e-mail to this effect, you do not need to submit a form. The legality of the data processing up to the time of the withdrawal is unaffected by the withdrawal.
Opposition to advertising e-mails
We herewith oppose the use of the contact data we publish in compliance with our legal obligation to post Impressum (imprint) information for sending advertising and information materials unless it has been explicitly solicited. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to institute legal proceedings against the unsolicited delivery of advertising information, using spam e-mails, etc.
3. Data capture on our website
Most of the cookies we use are "session cookies". They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them manually. These cookies enable us to identify your browser again the next time you visit the website.
Cookies which are essential for carrying out the electronic communication process or providing certain functions requested by you (e.g., shopping cart functions) are stored in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 Para. 1f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure technically faultless and optimised provision of its services. If other cookies (e.g., cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.
DocCheck makes use of so-called "cookies" - text files that are stored in the user's browser - to facilitate the use of its services. The information generated by these cookies is only transmitted to DocCheck servers and is not shared with the website operator or other third parties. This information will also not be transmitted outside the EU.
- Cookie 1: Doccheck_user_id – Enables a single-sign-on for all DocCheck logins, so that the users only have to log in once. Validity = 1 Session.
- Cookie 2: Doccheck_scu_data – Provides suitable content by means of anonymous data (e.g. profession, country or language). Validity = 1 year.
Within the framework of using the DocCheck Password Protection, DocCheck collects the so-called protocol data of each user on the information provider's website. These include, for example, the IP address, access date, access time, referrer URL, information about used hardware and software such as browser information or device information such as the resolution.
These data are not used to draw conclusions about the person, but serve to ensure the correct display of the page or iframe content and / or the security of the DocCheck services.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser sends to us automatically. This information consists of:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system user
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Article 6 Para. 1b) GDPR, which permits processing of data for the performance of a contract or in support of activities prior to entering into a contract.
When you send enquiries to us using a contact form, the information you provide in the form including the contact information you supply in the form is stored by us to enable us to process your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions. We do not communicate this data to anyone without your consent.
The information you enter in the contact form is thus processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6 Para. 1a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. To do this, you simply need to send us an e-mail to this effect, you do not need to submit a form. The legality of the data processing operations up to the time of the withdrawal is unaffected by the withdrawal.
We keep the information you enter in the contact form until you ask us to delete it, or you withdraw your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the information no longer exists (e.g., when processing of your enquiry is completed). Mandatory legal provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.
4. Data protection declaration for use of our online application system
When using our online application system, you will be directed to the website of our service provider, Rexx Systems. Rexx Systems is the external data processing agent PARI has engaged under the provisions of the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz [Federal Data Protection Act] (Article 28 GDPR). This means that your data is hosted by this provider. Both PARI and the provider take technical and organisational security measures to protect the data collected from you from accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons.
In the course of the application procedure, you have the option to enter the following information about yourself: Form of address, job title, first and last names, address, date of birth, telephone number for contact (mobile, landline), nationality, e-mail address, salary expectation, earliest start date, current notice period, photo, curriculum vitae, cover letter, references, other personal documents in support of your application.
Only the details that you provide as part of your application will be stored. Your stored information will only be used for its intended purpose, i.e., for the application process.
After you enter your data, it is sent directly to the server of our external service provider via an encrypted connection (TLS). An encryption method is also provided for your login.
By sending your information to us, you indicate that you agree to our processing and communicating your information solely for the purpose of processing your application.
In order to analyse the website, the provider uses Matomo open source software to evaluate visitor access requests. To facilitate this, your IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before your details are stored. To learn more about this, please refer to the data protection declaration of our service provider. The latest version of that document is available via the following link: https://www.rexx-systems.com/data-protection.php
5. Analysis tools and advertising
This website uses functions of the Google Analytics web analysis service. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and are used to facilitate analysis of the website. The information about your use of this website that is generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in US and stored there.
Google Analytics cookies are stored in compliance with Article 6 Para. 1f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour, in order to optimise both its internet presence and its advertising.
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. Consequently, your IP address in the member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area will be truncated by Google before it is transmitted to the US. In exceptional cases only, the full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and then truncated. Upon request from the operator of this website, Google will use this information to assess your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities, and to provide the website operator with additional services relating to use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser for analysis with Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google.
You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer with a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we would point out that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full range of the functions offered by this website. You can also prevent the data that is generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being sent to Google, and the processing of said data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Objection to data collection
You can prevent your data from being collected by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set and will prevent your data from being collected whenever you visit this website in future: Deactivate Google Analytics.
For more information about how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to the Google data protection declaration: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Your e-mail address will not be enabled for delivery of the newsletter until you have activated the hyperlink which is sent in the e-mail.
The data you enter in the newsletter registration form is processed solely on the basis your consent (Article 6 Para. 1a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent to store this data, your e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example by following the "De-register" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations completed up to the time of the withdrawal is unaffected by your withdrawal.
The data you have sent us to enable us to deliver the newsletter to you will be stored by us until you cancel your registration for the newsletter, and will be deleted thereafter. Data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g., e-mail addresses for the members area) are unaffected by this.
In order to send out our newsletter, we use the platform of the service provider SC Networks (EVALANCHE). This service provider satisfies all data protection requirements and will ensure the safety of your information.
